ASSEMBLY

Assembly is an SEI center-based operation that subcontracts for packaging and assembly work in large quantities. Assembly work includes light bench assembly, disassembly, mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, and replacement parts.  Assembly clients are also responsible for packaging, labeling and preparing for distribution all  our Morgan Brand Popcorn and Jumpy Monkey Coffee products.

OTHER PROGRAM AREAS

 

CAP

The Care and Production (CAP) Program is center-based and provides daily living training, community integration and personal, social and vocational developmental activities to adults with severe developmental disabilities.

The primary purpose of this program is to provide the individuals we serve with opportunities to:

  • Improve self care

  • Learn work skills

  • Access their community

  • Increase personal and social skills within the community

  • Focus on individual goals

Program participants engage in tasks such as:

  • Taking community outings

  • Performing sub-contract work, including folding, labeling, sorting, paper shredding, to earn a paycheck

  • Learning self-help skills

  • Participating in gardening, art and other projects

 

MERRY MAIDS®

SEI’s Merry Maids® provides residential and commercial maid cleaning services for the Redwood Falls and Marshall areas.

 

PROJECT PLACE

SEI’s Project PLACE (Providing Links and Assistance with Competitive Employment) provides competitive, community-based employment services to persons with severe mental illness. People served by Project PLACE are hired directly by the employer.  Click to learn more.
